Inhale: Feeding Our Firefighters
As a native Californian, living away from California, it was hard to hear about the 2018 fires and the struggle to bring them under control, knowing that I had loved ones close by. My childhood best friend is a firefighter in Felton, CA and I reached out to her to ask what kind of things people could do and were doing to help. After talking with her for a long time- I realized who I wanted to focus on was the firefighters, people like her, who were thinking so selflessly while they work to save lives.
Inhale is a company that would collect donated meals from local restaurants and bring them directly to firefighters on scene. The intention is to bring a little piece of home and the communities gratitude to the firefighters, while helping to replenish their energy and spirits during the long stretch of fire seasons.
